About Us

Originally conceived as as demo studio for recording his original songs, Hat Creek owner Bobby Starnes soon discovered that there was a strong need in the Tri-Cities area for a high quality studio with a very relaxed atmosphere. A studio where musicians and singers could be themselves and have an enjoyable experience. "I think everyone performs their best when they are comfortable," he says, "and I always make that a high priority before starting any new project. We are here to help them in anyway possible to capture their best performance, have a fun experience, and to leave with a product that they are, and that we are, proud of."

WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT HCRC

Don't take our word. Here is what our clients say:

Jason Burleson

State of the art equipment! Relaxing atmosphere! You can't beat it! Highly recommended!

Tim Stafford

Of all the studios I've worked in, including several top Nashville establishments, Hat Creek is easily the best. None match its combination of sound quality, equipment, setting, expertise, hospitality and amenities; in fact, none come close. I was hoping this best kept secret might stay a secret a little while longer, but the word is out now. This is a state of the art sound studio in one of the best settings imaginable.

Rob Ickes

I highly recommend Hat Creek Recording Company! Great gear, great vibe, great times, they have the whole package! (And I was able to improve my pool game!)
